Ganesha is one of Hinduism’s most popular deities: He is honored when ceremonies and ritual begin as well before embarking on a new endeavor. Believed by Hindus to be the “remover of obstacles,” Ganesha is often depicted with an elephant head, big belly, and multiple hands.
