It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Chapter 13. SSAS Administration
This chapter covers the processes and methodologies used to administer your SSAS cubes, including some discussion on methods of moving or copying the SSAS cubes from development or test environments to production. We'll focus here only on SSAS cube deployment, not SSAS data mining structures, SSIS packages, or SSRS reports, as these topics are beyond the scope of this chapter. We'll also discuss monitoring, scalability, and availability techniquesso that your SSAS cubes will perform consistently well, no matter how large or distributed your environment is.
