I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

In diesem Abschnitt kommen wir auf das eigentliche Steckenpferd von Git zu sprechen: das Abgleichen der eigenen Arbeit mit anderen Repositories. Man kann entweder ein zentrales Repository für ein Projekt verwenden oder direkt von anderen, nicht zentralen Repositories abgleichen. Der letzte Fall trifft eher zu, wenn Sie selbst an verschiedenen Rechnern an einem Projekt arbeiten oder zu Testzwecken ein Branch von einem anderen Projektmitarbeiter gezogen wird, ohne dass der betroffene Branch auf dem zentralen Server eingecheckt werden soll. In allen anderen Fällen sollten Sie ein zentrales Repository einrichten.
