Chapter 4 Consume Wisely
One of the most life-changing things my oldest son and I did was take a vision trip to a Central American country a few years ago. He was nine at the time and had never traveled to a lower-income country or experienced poverty other than the kind we might see around us every day in a major US city. Through one of my partner’s foundations, we signed up to travel abroad for one week to see the work of the foundation and contribute in small ways. The trip was remarkable.
