Chapter Three: Exocentric video summarization
Abstract
In this chapter, we focus on how to build good summaries from exocentric video. We propose four distinct exocentric video summarization techniques based on graph clustering. The first three techniques are based on Delaunay graph clustering, whereas the fourth one is based on graph modularity. Overall, our theoretically rich graph clustering based video storyboard design techniques use both low- and high-level features, combine them in different ways, and successfully address demands from the end users.
