It is a pleasure to introduce this book, which represents a salient advancement at the intersection of multimedia data analysis and graph theory. Given the recent rapid proliferation of cameras and mobile phones, the sheer volume and complexity of multimedia data, particularly videos, presents substantial challenges in automated processing and understanding. These challenges stem from the considerable variations in data size, content variability, and the often-unstructured nature of video data.
