I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Executing bulk changes
In this section, we'll discuss executing bulk changes. This can be really powerful when we need to make changes to many items, and we don't want to make those changes individually. We can do this by figuring out whether there is a pattern, or a way that we can make the change to many items. You're going to learn how to execute a bulk change by using the results of a filter.
In JIRA, let's take a look at one of our filters, as shown in the following screenshot. Looking at our First Project Open Sprint Work Items filter, we can see that it says project FP1, and, if the issue type is story, we're going to look at our open sprints and return everything ordered by the created date descending.
