When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
The mobile-first approach
Mobile-first is a relatively new way to design web pages, facilitating the responsiveness starting always by the small screen devices, such as mobile phones or tablets. When you start designing, you must have a close idea of where your product will be displayed.
Now, it's time to choose a frontend library to start creating our first project components. In our opinion, Material Design can give a more natural feel to the final user and looks great on mobile devices (Android UI is based on Material). Bootstrap can be a good option too, still looking like a common web page on small screens. The same goes for Semantic UI, but this one has transitions and animations that we will really miss.
