Mesh (MESH)

Fitness can be computed at regular intervals of the search-space using the MESH method. For increasing search-space dimensionality, this incurs an exponentially increasing number of mesh-points to retain a similar interval size. This phenomenon is what is known as the Curse of Dimensionality. The MESH method is used as any other optimization method in SwarmOps is and will indeed return the mesh-point found to have the best fitness as its solution. The quality of this solution will depend on how coarse or fine the mesh is.
