Hands-On System Programming with Go

Exit and deferred functions

One important caveat about this function's use is that deferred functions are not executed.

The following example will have no output:

package mainimport (    "fmt"    "os")func main() {    defer fmt.Println("Hello, playground")    os.Exit(0)}
