So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Mini-case I: Samsung response to COVID-19
Samsung Electronics is a South Korean multinational company and one of the world's largest manufacturers and sellers of mobile phones (Samsung, 2023). During the COVID-19 outbreak, it was inevitable that as part of the devastating impact on almost every sector of the global economy, the supply chain disruption, retail store closures, and prolonged economic downturn, also damaged the consumer electronics business. In this mini-case, we use the example of Samsung Electronics to see how its mobile phone business adapted to the rapidly changing business environment to minimize the negative impact of COVID-19 on its operations.
