I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
SSL Acceleration
Because of the complication of public key cryptography used in SSL, it is considerably slower than HTTP communication without SSL. Some estimates cite a three to seven times slower experience for the user. Web sites that receive considerable traffic and must employ SSL protection on a large part of their site can easily place too much burden on their Web servers. In order to help isolate the expense of SSL as well as speed things up, several methods have been established to help accelerate SSL in a Web serving environment.
