Framework Manager II
In Chapter 15, you learned how to model your relational data using Framework Manager. This chapter discusses additional features found in Framework Manager that might be useful in your model, including macros, security, dimensional modeling of relational data sources, and features to help manage multi-user model development. Macros supply variable values at run time to customize objects based on the user accessing the content. Security can be applied to packages, objects in the model, or the data that is returned. Dimensionally modeled relational (DMR) data sources allow multidimensional exploration of data in Analysis Studio, as well as drill-down and drill-up capability in Report Studio and Query Studio.
