It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
In all our discussions, we have used Python for image processing. There are many circumstances where it will be helpful to view the image so that it will be easy to prototype the algorithm that needs to be written in Python for processing. There are many such software programs, the most popular and powerful being ImageJ. This appendix serves as an introduction to ImageJ.
