I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
What are our business workloads?
Now you might think, I operate (for example) an e-commerce application. What is this question about? There is a simple answer: the operation of the e-commerce application is only the highest level, in fact, the process comprises at least the following workloads:
- Identifying customers
- Registering new customers
- Browsing products
- Placing orders
- Status of orders
- All administrative tasks such as maintaining the product catalog or generating month-end reports
