So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Summary
In this chapter we have seen how to take a simple integration and convert it into a publish and subscribe pair of integrations, and then extend it with additional subscriber integrations. In demonstrating the integrations, we have seen how to use Mockable to capture the inbound events and examine the content of the SOAP service calls in Mockable. We then looked at a couple of design ideas that allow the publish and subscribe framework to be taken forward using enterprise patterns.
In the next chapter, we will take the basics from the last couple of chapters and examine how ICS can be used to perform integrations between known SaaS solutions, such as those provided by Oracle.
