I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Summary
In this chapter, we started out looking at a very simple filter determining whether to allow a message to be sent to Mockable.io. We then extended this and turned the filter into a routing where, if the condition was not satisfied, it would be handled by an alternate route with a different mapping; we saw this in action. We then took the filter integration, swapping the source to a REST call, and extended the filtering conditions; in doing so we got to see a more complex filter being defined, but also explored some of the more advanced REST endpoint properties.
In the next chapter, we will look at how integrations can be connected to the Oracle Messaging Cloud Service for publishing and subscribing messages to third-party applications. ...
