Thinking/feeling (T/F). The T/F
preference describes how an individ-
ual tends to make rational decisions.
People for whom thinking is the pre-
ferred decision-making style detach
themselves from a situation, apply
logic and objectivity to the problem,
and render a decision that seems fair
and reasonable. Those who prefer
feeling put themselves into the situa-
tion and make a decision based on
how the outcomes will affect individ-
ual well-being and align with their
individual and organizational values.
Judging/perceiving (J/P). The J/P
preference describes how an individ-
ual typically goes through life.
