So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Arduino is a small single-chip computer board that can be used for a wide variety of creative hardware projects. The hardware consists of a simple microcontroller board, and chipset. It comes with a Java-based IDE that allows creators to program the board. Arduino is the ideal open hardware platform for experimenting with the world of the Internet of Things.
