Arch Linux is the first distro covered here that is targeted to advanced users and the first one that is a pure rolling release distro. It’s also not user-friendly, but that hasn’t stopped it from becoming very popular. Perhaps its success lies in its simplicity, because Arch only gives you a very basic foundation upon which you can build the Linux you need or want.
