After a short, lightweight Inception phase where the team invested the time to gain agreement around the approach that they are going to take, they are ready to begin Construction. Note that it is impossible to devote as much space in this book as is needed to comprehensively cover what happened with this team. Therefore, we describe key events and issues that were encountered and the strategies that the team took to address them. The transparency built into the agile process, combined with constant self-evaluation by the team, quickly surfaces problems so that they can be fixed in a timely and open manner.
