About the Authors
Henry Lau earned his MSc and MBA degrees from institutions in the United Kingdom and the United States, respectively. With over 28 years of experience in designing radio frequency (RF) systems, products, and Radio Frequency Integrated Circuit (RFICs) in both Hong Kong and the United States, he has a strong background in the field. He served as a Principal Engineer at Motorola and Conexant in the United States, where he developed RFICs for cellular phones and silicon tuner applications. Mr. Lau holds six issued patents and has one pending, all related to RF designs, and he has authored a book on antenna design. Currently, he is the founder of Lexiwave Technology, a company based in Hong Kong and the United States that specializes in wireless, Internet of Things (IoT), and artificial intelligence (AI) solutions. The company designs and markets RFICs, RF modules, antennas, radar, and wireless solutions integrated with AI technology. Additionally, he has taught various RF‐related courses internationally and has chaired two symposiums and three seminars focused on wireless and IoT technologies in Hong Kong during 2016 and 2017.
