After you pass basic training (in Chapter 2), the next thing you’re likely to want is to get some or all of the following into your iPhone: contacts, appointments, events, bookmarks, music, movies, TV shows, podcasts, photos, and documents.
Last year Apple decreed that iTunes version 12.7 (and later) would no longer allow you to buy or manage your iOS apps, ringtones, e-books, and iTunes U courses. The exception is that you can use the Books app to purchase and manage e-books on a Mac or iOS device (but not on a PC because it doesn’t have a Books app).
