This chapter covered the design of deployment circuits from a developer's perspective. After illustrating some introductory concepts (deployment services, Deployment Design Boxes, and so on), we proposed a standard general procedure for designing the deployment support for our application. We discussed some of the more interesting aspects connected to deployment design.
With this chapter, we concluded the theoretical discussion of Java deployment. The remaining chapters of this book will all provide example code eventually accompanied with some theoretical advice.
Chapter 5 will cover some examples of deployment for non-J2SE Java platforms.
