Image recognition
The operations of classification and indexing of the images are based on the automatic analysis of the image content, constituting the main application field of the imaging analysis. The objective of an automatic imagerecognitionsystem consists in the description, through mathematical models and computer implementations, of the content of an image, trying, as far as possible, to respect the principles of the human visual system. To this end, the information contained in an image is represented according to three levels of abstraction, following a bottom-up approach:
