So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Automatic summarization
Automatic summarization is related to the creation of summarized versions of a text in such a way that only the most important points of the original text are kept. This operation differs from IE due to the fact that the recovered information is not necessarily formatted so that it can be processed by further applications.
We can consider the automatic summarization as a process characterized by three phases that can be roughly described as follows:
- Analysis of the source text: The objective of this phase is to process the text and characterize it in such a way as to allow the identification of the contents of the information.
