So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Lexicon and semantics analysis
Semantic and lexical language analysis can help us to improve the performance of opinion classification systems. In addition to opinion words, there are other language features that can be considered in an opinion mining system. Opinion words are words, terms, and idioms belonging to the natural language that usually indicate feelings, opinions, and moods. Let's look at some of the available features in detail:
- Parts of speech: Some parts of speech can be excellent indicators of opinion. For example, adjectives, which are often an important indicator of opinion, can be treated as special features. Also, the ways of saying (opinion phrases) of a particular language are evidently useful for the detection of sentiment. ...
