So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Similarly, there is the FlowPane layout, which lays out controls from left to right and wraps them to the next line on the boundary, and the BorderPane layout, which is a highly useful layout that divides the controls into five regions: top, left, bottom, right, and center.
