It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Asynchronous nature
Ktor uses Kotlin coroutines APIs with the help of pipeline machinery. It provides easy-to-use asynchronous programming models and all the hosts are implemented using an asynchronous I/O to avoid thread blocking.
