Summary
Ktor enables quick development with less hassle from technological constraints, such as setting up logging, templates, dependency injection, and so on. The application code is especially concise, thanks to Kotlin's nature, which adds to its readability.
The downside with Ktor is its lack of documentation and community, which means it's difficult to start and, if you face some issues with it, then it's even more difficult because of the smaller community that exists to help resolve them. Moreover, the framework has not reached v1.0 at the time of writing. It should reach v1.0 pretty soon, though. Overall it's a great framework for building web applications instantly and completely with Kotlin.
