It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Using Online Resources
In the previous chapter, you mostly handled troubleshooting on your own. But you don’t have to do that alone anymore. You can ask others online and work through problems together, for example, in internet forums and on community websites.
Over the years, a large body of LaTeX-related information has accumulated on the internet. Thanks to LaTeX’s open source nature, a strong and active community has formed, sharing experience, solutions, and best practices.
