The next type of simulation we will discuss is a cloth simulation. This is one of the easier simulations to work with, but it is also quite complex due to the amount of internal and external interactions it will have. Such a simulation makes things that would otherwise be very difficult to model—such as tablecloths, flags, and blankets—super simple and easy to create! Normally, we use cloth simulations to create two-dimensional (2D) things like the examples mentioned earlier, but they can also be used to create three-dimensional (3D) objects such as pillows, stuffed animals, and even balloons!
