When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Using classes
We saw that JavaScript's object-oriented model is based on constructors and prototype-based inheritance. Well, ES6 classes are just a new syntax for the existing model. Classes do not introduce a new object-oriented model to JavaScript.
ES6 classes aim to provide a much simpler and clearer syntax for dealing with the constructors and inheritance.
In fact, classes are functions. Classes are just a new syntax for creating functions that are used as constructors. Creating functions using classes that aren't used as constructors doesn't make any sense, and offers no benefits.
Rather, it makes your code difficult to read, as it becomes confusing. Therefore, use classes only if you want to use them to construct objects. Let's have ...
