In this section of the chapter, we will focus on why SQL injections are so important and so dangerous. The reason is because they are found everywhere; a lot of big websites have these kind of exploits, such as Yahoo and Google. They're very hard to protect against and it's very easy to make a mistake and make these exploits available for misuse. The other reason that they're very dangerous is because they give the hacker access to the database. In many scenarios, if we find an SQLi, we don't need to upload a PHP shell or get a reverse connection.
