It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Summary
We discussed MapReduce and how to write it in Couchbase using JavaScript and using the view editor of the web admin console. You also learned about the life cycle of a view. Then we discussed the stale parameter, how to write a custom reduce, and finally, the fact that all of these views are accessible from Java applications.
In the next chapters, we will discuss N1QL, which is like the structured query language of RDBMS.
