So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Google BigQuery API
This chapter will explore the Google BigQuery API. The API methods explored in this chapter will provide an idea of how to:
- Create a new dataset in a project
- Create new tables in the dataset
- Load data to the table from files in the Google Cloud Storage location
- Execute a query and get its results or save the results of the query to a new table
This chapter also introduces Google APIs Explorer, to help users understand the API methods used in this chapter deeply so that it can used in other programming languages. This chapter has code samples for accessing the BigQuery API via C# .NET and Python programming languages.
