I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Creating a Lightning Application
To create a Lightning Application, follow the steps from the App Launcher:
- Click on the New Lightning App button.
- Follow the prompt and enter the name of the application (note that the developer name gets auto-populated once you click on the Developer Name field), description, and configure App Branding:
- Choose between a console app and a standard app.
- Optionally, select Utility Bar items. Utility bars are used to carry quick functionalities that need to be accessed quickly, such as taking notes during sales calls, or quickly finding contact details when a service representative is on a call with a customer. ...
