I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
vCloud Director support
From the administrator's perspective, working with vCloud Director vApps is very similar to working with traditional VMs in a VMware vSphere environment. Once the vCloud Director infrastructure is added to Veeam Backup & Replication, it's content is available for protection. The following items are available for selection:
- vApp
- Organization vDC
- Organization
- vCloud Director instance
As with regular backup jobs, these backups can be scheduled and performed automatically. Restore of vCloud Director-based backups are also performed in the same familiar manner as with vSphere-based VMs, and features such as Instant VM Recovery are also available.
