So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
What Are System Tools and Utilities?
“System tools and utilities” is a very technical term, encompassing grand concepts in technological leaps and bounds and thoughts and . . . wait . . . I can't lie to you anymore. We've known each other too long now. I made it up. “System tools and utilities” is a collective term to talk about the tasks that you have to do to maintain your computer, troubleshoot problems, and generally know what is going on in the operating system. We need a name for all of these tools and programs that describes them. What were my other choices? “Stuff”? “Things”? With that decided, let's talk about system tools and utilities.
