When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Commercial Games
Not many commercial games are available for Linux. Most game companies know that the majority of hardcore gamers are running Windows. A few game makers consistently release their big titles for Linux. Some small game companies also make games for Linux. The reality of the situation is that dedicated gamers looking for the latest releases and the big titles in Linux are looking in the wrong place. Commercial game titles for Linux tend to often be released later than the Windows version and do not get the same level of support when it comes to patches and bug fixes. Still, there are a few shining beacons of hope out there for Linux gamers.
