So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
2. Getting to Know the Dock
When you see a picture of the Mac OS X desktop, one of the first things that leaps out at you is the colorful array of icons across the bottom of the screen or, with different user preferences applied, along the right or left side of the screen. This is the Dock, and it will be the starting point for many of your Mac adventures, so it’s worth taking the time to get to know this important chunk of the Mac OS X landscape.
