It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
4. Managing Files and Folders
Like many computer interfaces, Mac OS X follows a desktop metaphor centered on virtual files and the folders that are used to organize them. The files include documents of all kinds that store information, and you can nest folders within each other to create order. In this chapter, we review basics, such as moving, copying, and deleting files and folders, as well as more advanced topics, such as changing permissions and creating folders especially for burning to CD or DVD.
