Abstract
Concept of cloud computing emerges to address traditional on-premise infrastructure issue and its resolution. Cloud computing is primarily formed to solve the storage and computing problems due to enormous data generated with the popularity of digitalization. But due to technological advancement, both business and technology are integrated. This forced cloud to evolve and incorporate all technology and business processes and become a vital part of business operations. Cloud is widely accepted due to its flexibility and platform independence nature. Operating business fully on cloud provides many benefits to business organizations, such as easier and instant installation, high availability, lightning fast performance, quicker application development, high security and easy disaster recovery, platform independence services, and more focus on business processes rather application maintenance. This paper covers detail about cloud evolution, adoptability, and key emerging trends of cloud computing.
