Abstract
Cloud computing is one of the most important technologies in today’s data-driven world. It allows scaling of large computing resources and data storage facilities for industries, without a compulsory requirement of the underlying hardware. These are provided on a subscription basis with pricing based on provided data storage and compute facilities where the price may vary with up scaling or downscaling of required resources. With large as well as smaller companies gearing toward a data-driven approach for providing better customer service, there is a general trend of moving toward cloud computing for faster, cheaper, and maximally available data and computing resources which also allow faster up scaling and downscaling on demand. It has a high potential of cost reduction while improving functionality and scalability of an application while allowing for the cooperation of multiple entities in the same project. This allows for newer industries to scale up production of new software at a reduced cost and without the requirement of an initial investment in hardware. It may also increase the pace of production and deployment of a software product, due to availability of high performance ...
