I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Measures of central tendency
Measures of central tendency include the following:
- Mean: This is what you might commonly refer to as an average. We calculate this by summing all of the numbers in the distribution and then dividing by the count of the numbers.
- Median: If we sort all of the numbers in our distribution from the lowest to highest, this is the number that separates the lowest half of the numbers from the highest half of the numbers.
- Mode: This is the most frequently occurring value in the distribution.
