Jack up your car without first chocking the tires and you might just see it roll down the driveway (or fall on top of you). Properly securing parts for machining is just as important, not only to assure high quality parts but also to keep you safe. Fortunately, a wide array of workholding devices is available; most are good, a few are excellent, some will change the way your shop does business.
