So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Magento 2 theme files
Magento 2 works with two groups of view files:
- Static view files: These are composed of images, JavaScript, and CSS files that do not undergo any processing at the server level
- Dynamic view files: These files are processed by the server, such as
.less, templates and layouts files.
If you have no knowledge of LESS files, do not worry. In the next chapter, chapter 4, Magento UI Library, we will address this issue.
These two groups of files are linked directly to the cache management of Magento 2, as you will see in next topic.
