that would also require that you create the outer
polyhedron in two parts so you can insert the
internal part of the pair.
A tetrahedron is self-dual, which means you can
make a tetrahedron that fits inside another. You
could use the pyramid volume model pyramid.

the thickness of the outer tetrahedron; OpenSCAD dimensions are for the
outside of the shape. We will leave you to play with how to explore these
