Project 4: Dinosaur Cookie Cutter
Perhaps you want a model of something you can’t find in the Gallery or easily
model yourself. Did you know you can convert raster images into vector
ones with a free online converter and import that vector into Tinkercad as a
model? Let’s do that with the cookie cutter in Figure
2-31
.
TIP: A raster image is made of pixels, such as a JPG. Its resolution depends on
the number of pixels per inch, and loses clarity when scaled up. A vector image is
made of points, lines, and curves, such as an SVG. It can scale up without any loss
of resolution.
