HOW TO: Alligator Clip Circuit
Alligator clips provide a quick way to prototype
simple, temporary circuits. This method is used
with many e-textile tool kits.
Parts and materials:
• (1) CR2032 battery
• (1) CR2032 battery holder
• (1) 62 Ω through-hole resistor
• (1) 5 mm through-hole yellow LED
• (3) alligator clip test leads: red, black,
and yellow
Steps:
1. Gather the parts for the alligator clip circuit
(Figure

).
2. Clip a red cable to the positive terminal (+) of
the battery holder and a black cable to the
negative (–) (Figure
